28th year of Czech award Jindřich Chalupecký for visual artists up to 35 years.

Curators: Tereza Jindrová a Karina Kottová.

Finalists: Romana Drdová, Diminik Gajarský, Richard Loskot, Martin Kohout a Viktorie Valocká.

The guest of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2017 was the Berlin-based artist Clemens von Wedemeyer.

MY POINT OF VIEW_  Richard Loskot with his multimedia installation Allusions of things, 2017, which represent a bedroom without human; may be the winner of this awards. This is the third time he is presenting his work, and, definitly, not just because of his insistence; He deserve it. Without underestimate the rest of finalists.

Work process: The narrative voice is constructed for represent a textual counterpart of the consciousness of a living human being which seems to be close to the authorial voice. It produces an alienation effect and increases the contrast between what seems to be a personal discourse and what seems to be and impersonal technical survey.
